William Scott Bible

This is the William Scott who was born in York County, PA March 25, 1765. When William was 6 his family moved to Virginia where he later married Margaret Fox.  They had 5 daughters.  The family then moved to Fayette County, KY, and then to Trigg County, KY.  He died in Trigg County, KY December 26, 1857. He could be related to my GGGGrandfather Thomas Scott and to the Samuel Scott who was one of the first settlers in Mercer County, KY.

John Tindsley and Jane Scott were married February 16th, In the year of our Lord Jesus Christ, 1815. John Rogers and Martha Scott were married September the 10th, in the year 1818 (?). Joseph Carr and Margaret Scott were married July the 29th, in 1819. James Tinsley and Elizabeth Scott were married February the 24th, 1820. Lulbearry (?) Carr was born September 30th, 1931. T. S. (?) Carr was born February 6th, 1834. Narcessa Carr was born April 13, 1886. Amelius Carr was born July 6, 1841. M. S. Carr departed this life November the 27th, in the year 1862, aged 42 years and 8 months. William Scott was born on March 25th, in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 1765. Margaret Scott, his wife, was born in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 1762. Mary Scott, daughter of the above couple, was born in June, the 13th, 1792. Jane Scott was born March the 9th, 1794. Martha Scott was born August 25th, 1797. Elizabeth Scott was born on June the 10th, 1799. Margaret Scott was born in February, the 22nd, 1801. Margaret Ann Rogers was born in June, the 13th, 1819. J. C. Carr was born in November, the 10th, 1850 (?). Marv Elizabeth Carr was born the 24th day of September, 1820. Margaret Eliza Tinsley was born December the 16th, 1820. Telitha Jane Rogers was born December the 25th, 1820. Robert Tinsley was born the 3rd of March, 1822. William S. Carr was born March the 17th, 1822. Joseph B. Rogers was born the 22nd of December, 1823. Margaret Ann Bibb was born October 27th, 1814. William S. Bibb and Martha Jane Bibb were born December the 15th, 1815. D______Bibb was born July the 27th, 1817. William S. Tinsley was born March the 19th, 1824. William S. Rogers was born October the 29th, 1824. Ransom Hardery Tinsley was born February 12th, 1826. Nathaniel Carr was born June, 8th day, 1827. John G. Rogers was born 23rd day of March, 1827. James S. Tinsley was born the 23rd day of Oct, 1827. Margaret Ann (?) Carr was born October the 8th, 1826.

Carr departed this life October the 29th, in the year 1856, aged 22 years 8 months and 24 days. Joseph Carr departed this life February (?) the 18th, in the year 1857, aged 64 years. William Scott departed this life December 26th, 1857, aged 94 years and 9___. NOTE: Win. Scott first resided in Payette Co., Ky., later moved to Trigg Co., Ky.
