Thomas Scott was born about 1760 or 1761, probably in Virginia. He enlisted in the 10th Virginia Regiment in January 1777. He
was at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778 and at the surrender of
Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia on October 19, 1781. In 1793 Thomas is in
Mercer County, KY. In 1798 he marries Sarah Hamilton in Mercer County, KY.
Thomas and Sarah had 8 children:
