I owe a great debt of gratitude to two cousins I got to know
on-line but never managed to meet in person.
We met on Genealogy Bulletin Board Systems in the 1980’s and worked
closely through the early 1990’s exchanging documents and ideas.
The first was T Don Scott who passed away in 2000. T Don was the son of James Nathaniel Scott,
the son of Walter Edgerly Scott, the son of Thomas Hazard Perry Scott, the
youngest son of Thomas Scott who was in the American Revolution.
The second was Helen Walts who passed away in 2012. Helen Frances Lyles Walts was the daughter of
Cecelia Rose Lyles, the daughter of Edna Rose, the daughter of Cecelia Scott,
the daughter of Thomas Hazard Perry Scott.
